Ou Xiuhua stood up to see them to the door. Just as the two girls stepped out, Ou Xiuhua closed the door and walked back into the living room.
In the living room, Chen Nuo was seated in his wheelchair, flipping through a book. Ou Xiuhua hesitated for a moment, then decided against speaking. Instead, she took Xiao Yezi to wash up before taking her daughter back to their room to rest.
