Chapter 90 - THE BEGINNING OF SOMETHING NEW

As Ashleah prepared for the sealing of Callum an overwhelming power/mana rushed inside her--no, scratch that, everyone gasped as they felt something so overwhelming flowing inside them. The injuries, fatal or even severe was now gone and completely healed making the healers surprised. "Was it you, Ashleah?" Axis tilts his head towards Ashleah with his forehead creased but as soon as his own eyes landed on Ashleah, he gasped loudly covering his mouth with the palm of his right hand. "Y-You have golden eyes!"

She widened her eyes, and scoffed. "No! You have golden eyes, Axis!" Both were now in a state of panic as they continued to point at each other who had the golden eyes. "Elias, are you doing okay--" Her words stopped, as her body froze on the spot as it felt everything went slow motion when she saw how Callum was going to attack Elias who fell from the sky to the ground. "You damned fucker just don't know how to give up huh?" She was about to use the seal on Callum, but suddenly Elias opened his eyes and to their surprise he also had golden eyes! Just like everyone else who felt the sudden rush of magic/mana inside them. "Prescott, you know something about this, do you not?" Those words escaped Ashleah's lips making Prescott who had golden eyes but was in his original form chuckle, he swiftly circled around and was back to his human form and nodded.

"I knew that you would catch up to this much, Master. The sudden feeling we had earlier was what we call in our tribe as 'The God's Gift.' I will further explain later, I do think that Callum would go with his rage sooner or later—" Ashleah knew what Prescott was talking about and with a swift she turns around and faces Callum with a small smile. "Just say the words, Master." But with great surprise, as the necklace glowed brightly, Callum knew it will definitely be the end of him. With his mind clouded with questions on how he will survive, with great speed Callum tried to fly away but Nash quickly moved and opened his palm at Callum like he was trying to grip onto him but as if it was a bombshell of surprise a magic circle appeared below Callum from Nash's opened palm, as that magic circle slowly turned into a magical prison. With all of this happening, their eyes were on Prescott who shrugged his shoulders with a smile.

With widened eyes, lips parted open, Elias looked at them and slowly his lips formed into a smile making Callum feel like shit even more. Callum always knew that there will be a day that this would definitely happen. As Callum started to feel breathless, Elias was about to go down but then he faces his brother for the last time, and those trembling lips slowly formed into a smile. "Brother, I never will regret doing this. I love you, my Brother. Goodbye."

Callum gulped the huge yet invisible lump inside his throat as a single drop of his crystal clear went down his cheeks. He smiled pathetically for himself and nodded slowly as he felt his head getting heavier as the seconds pass with its quick pace, with his eyes plastered on his Young Brother, there he wished that he could've changed and protected his brother yet he let himself get carried away. "Elias." A single word came out from his mouth as his strength started to fade slowly, his trembling hand found its way to touch the clear magic prison that's in between the two of them. "I'm sorry, Brother."

Swoosh, as those words left his mouth, the seal was now completed as Callum got swiped inside the necklace, Elias' tears one by one dropped to his cheeks as it slides down smoothly to his chin, falling to his opened quivering palm. He felt breathless. "I-It's been done. I-I sealed my own brother." With that, as he started to realize what really happened, a loud scream as his hands turned into a fist, placed on his chest, his knees lost all of its strength. Ashleah quickly gave Prescott the seal and ran to Elias.

"I'll be bringing this to His Majesty." Prescott turns himself to his bird form and flew his way to where the Emperor was hiding with the citizens. Knights were confused to why their injuries was now gone but started to thank God. Indeed, it was a miracle to be alive in such occasion that will go down the history of Genry.

"Elias, you did it." Ashleah was panting aggressively, hugging Elias' trembling body. The 5 Princes went around them to give Elias some privacy from the Knights looking at them. "You can cry it all out, Elias." She whispered, as Elias who slowly felt like he was a kid who lost his parents, the new Master of the Black Magicians loses his consciousness. "Axis! Nash!" as Elias head was hanging down low on Ashleah's shoulder, the Princess panicked. "Bring him in and do your best to help to relieve his stress! We need Elias by our side!"

"Yes, Your Highness!"

----------------------------------------------------------------

Ashleah opened her eyes slowly, her eyes were now back to it's original color. A soft sigh escapes his lips making Aziel look at her with a frown. "What's wrong, Princess?" He tilted his head while holding his books he has been reading.

She was about to open her mouth and reply but suddenly the door open without any permissions to do so, Ashleah quickly turns her head towards the door with her glaring eyes, The Knight felt shivers down his spine but despite the fear, he said three words out loud. "He is awake."

A lot of footsteps were running their way to a certain room, Ashleah saw how Axis ran from the other side of the Palace. "Your Highness, he is finally awake." She nodded her head, suddenly Nash who came from a meeting with the other nobles came rushing in.

They opened the doors, and Elias who had been asleep for 2 weeks, turns his head around. "What happened?!"

Flashback

A day after what happened, Prescott started explaining what happened during the sealing of Callum. "The God's gave us a gift. As we can see, the holy power of the new High Priest, Axis was now more clearer than before. Her Highness, Princess Izel's powers went overboard and now you can feel her presence just by standing 15 feet away from her. The Duke Deoncan has his own powers now, everyone who was injured was now safe and healed properly. Some of the houses were back to how it used to be. The God's has seen and heard our prayers. The Empire of Genry has been blessed."

Everyone was left speechless, but suddenly a Marquis stood up receiving death glares from The Princess, The High Priest, and The Duke. He cleared his throat, avoiding eye contact from the trio. "But, Your Majesty what should we do to the Black Magicians?! They are still a high risk for the danger--"

"Are you stupid?" Ashleah snapped, the Marquis looked at the Princess with widened eyes. "I'm asking you, are you stupid? No? Okay then, I really thought we were finished with telling how this happened, Callum we sealed him for he was the one manipulating and controlling the brain of every single black magician within his grasp. Now that he is gone, they won't be doing it again and if they do I will be the first one to cut their heads off, is that enough for everyone inside here? Or should I--"

"That is enough." The Emperor finally spoke up and stood up from his seat. "As Prescott said this is a Gift from the God's and we should be thankful. As soon as the new Master of the Black Magicians wakes up we will give him a proper ceremony to show the God's that we are not taking what they to us for granted and to show peace with the both sides." He looks at Prescott, he nodded his head and Prescott turns himself to his human form.

"This is it. This is the--"

----------------------------------------------------------------

Ashleah smiled at Elias and took a deep breath after explaining everything to him. "This is THE BEGINNING OF SOMETHING NEW."
